StudentReach is a student marketing business based in York, England. We run a network of campus media communities across the UK and Ireland and partner with local businesses who want to reach students. For data protection purposes StudentReach is the data controller. Contact details you give us: your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the town or city your business is in.

Enquiry details: your answers to questions on our forms, including whether you are looking to attract student customers and where your business sits in relation to campus.

Correspondence: emails, calls and messages between us.

Website data: basic analytics such as pages visited and device type.

We collect this directly from you, through forms on this website, through lead forms on Facebook and Instagram, and when you email or call us.

To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote. Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interests.

To contact you about advertising with StudentReach. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in marketing to businesses. You can opt out at any time.

To run and improve this website. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests.

To meet our legal and accounting obligations. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

We share your information with service providers who process it on our behalf: our CRM provider, for storing and managing enquiries; our email and calendar provider, Google Workspace; and Meta Platforms, where you submitted a lead form on Facebook or Instagram. We do not sell your personal information.

Some of our providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on standard contractual clauses with appropriate safeguards.

We keep enquiry records for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner, or we need to keep them longer for legal or accounting reasons.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email jack@studentreach.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
